Our laughter therapy workshops are suitable for the workplace, community events and social celebrations such as parties and festivals. 

There are a variety of packages available as well as bespoke packages to suit your individual laughter requirements.

 

WORKPLACE PACKAGES

 

Stress

 

Our STRESS BUSTING LAUGHTER YOGA WELLNESS WORKSHOP lasts two hours. It combines psychoeducation about stress and laughter yoga. Inspiration for this workshop is taken from the Health and Safety Executive’s (HSE) guidance on employers’ quest to protect and support the mental health of their employees. This workshop creatively incorporates the six key areas of the HES’s Management Standards of: Demands of the job. Control of own work. Support of effective managers and colleagues. Relationships in the workplace. Role within the organisation. Change and how it is managed.

 

 

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

 

Our SAD LAUGHTER. LAUGHTER YOGA WELLNESS WORKSHOP is all about seasonal affective disorder, a debilitating condition that affects many people during the Autumn and Winter months. This workshop aims to build awareness by combining psychoeducation about SAD with laughter yoga.

COMMUNITY

Sarah can often be found in a local park providing free taster sessions of Laughter Yoga. If there is a group of you in the Nottingham area that want to give it a go, the feel free to contact sarah@laughterclub.co.uk to discuss the possibility of bringing it to your local community. 

 

 

SOCIAL CELEBRATIONS

Laughter Yoga is so much fun and brings people together making it an excellent choice for hen parties, birthday parties and festivals. Glastonbury Festival have a tent dedicated to Laughter Yoga in the healing field.

About

Laughter therapy workshops with Sarah (Certified Laughter Yoga Leader, Counsellor, Clinical Supervisor and Laughter Therapist) have been inspired by the Laughter Yoga movement where we laugh for no reason without the need for comedy or jokes. Laughter Yoga is a unique concept that sprung from the combined minds of a medical doctor and yoga teacher Dr Madan Kataria and Madhuri Kataria in 1995. Deep breathing practises, gentle stretches, laughter exercises, followed by guided relaxation. Today we have hundreds of thousands of people practicing “laughter for health” worldwide in over 100 countries with more than 10,000 laughter clubs practising laughter each day.
